A New Light - Creative Lamps Made from Recycled Coffee Grounds

We have seen tables and chairs made from used coffee grounds, here's another use for recycled coffee grounds.

Spanish designer Raúl Laurí has created the Decafé Lamp, inspired by a cup of coffee. The shape will remind you of a mug and the outer material is created from recycled coffee grounds. The simple, creative and eco-friendly design recently won first place in Salone Satellite Awards during Milan Design Week 2012. The judges were impressed with Laurí’s experimental product, in terms of its concept, design and experimentation with sustainable materials.
