2011 Honolulu Triathlon

Hawaiian Energy Sports would like to wish good luck to all the athletes competing in the Honolulu Triathlon on Sunday, May 15th.

With over 1300 athletes from 11 countries this will be a great weekend.  The Sprint Duathlon returns to the festival this year. A perfect event for those who do not like to swim but would love to be challenged and participate in the festival. Last year a shorter version of the Open Ocean Swim Competitions was offered, however this year it was decided to raise the bar by making it the same distance as the International Ironman race.  For a complete list of the races, and the start times on Sunday, visit the Schedule of Events page of the Honolulu Triathlon website.

On Friday, May 13th, there is an International Athletes Welcome Party.  Everyone is invited to attend and welcome the athletes from around the world. This event is also a fundraiser for the American Red Cross Japanese Relief Fund to show support for our fellow athletes from Japan.  There is a $25 entry fee with $5 going to the fund.  Heavy Pupus (appetizers) and a No Host bar and FREE 3 hour Valet Parking.
