Hawaii Sailing Canoe Association ~ 25th Season

Hawaii Sailing Canoe Association will begin its 25th season on Saturday, crossing the Alenuihaha Channel from Kawaihae on the Big Island to Makena Beach on Maui.  On Sunday the crews will leave Makena Beach and travel to Canoe Beach in Kaanapali.  

The travels will take the crews across the Hawaiian Island chain, ending in Kaui on August 18th.  

2012 Race Schedule

  • May 19 - 20th - Kawaihae, Big Island -Makena, - Maui
  • June 1 - 3rd -  KBRA - Maui to Molokai
  • July 21 - 22nd -  Hale o Lono, Molokai to Haleiwa, Oahu
  • August 18th -  Na Holokai - Oahu to Kauai
  • September 8th -  Kendall Cup - coastal run in Kauai

Support the Hawaii Sailing Canoe Association and their mission "to learn, revive, educate and practice those ancient Hawaiian skills and values as they relate to sailing canoes and the Hawaiian culture".
