The perfect opportunity to get a long, timed 2.4 mile swim 1 week prior to the Ironman World Championship.  Registration available online at Events Online.

Support the people, community and culture that support the athletes of The Ironman World Championships 

  • Volunteers from Kai Opua Canoe Club, who have provided ongoing support of the Ironman World Championship with setup and during race day, will be at the event.  
  • The Ahu'ena Heiau is the religious temple that served Kamehameha the Great when he returned to the Big Island in 1812 and is considered the most historically significant site in Hawaii. Proceeds to Ahu'ena Heiau will be used to assist in restoration efforts of the temple base was damaged during the tsunami in March of 2011.
