Maui Marathon & Half Marathon

41st Annual Maui Marathon & Half Marathon

Sunday, September 18th, 2011  l  5:30 am  l  Whalers Village in the Ka’anapali Beach Resort

Recognized as one of the most scenic courses in world, the Maui Marathon's point-to-point route starts in Kahului, passes moonlit sugarcane fields and hugs the spectacular Pacific coastline for over 17 breathtaking miles.  Enjoy views of the cobalt blue ocean water, its rolling surf and Maui’s neighboring islands of Kaho’olawe, Lana’i and Moloka’i.  The final miles take you through the historical fishing village of Lahaina before finishing near The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, race headquarters, in the world-famous Ka'anapali Beach Resort home of the Whalers Village.

The popular Maui Half Marathon features a flat, out-and-back course that follows the final 6.55 miles of the marathon course. This 13.1-mile half-marathon starts at Whalers Village in the Ka’anapali Beach Resort, passes through Lahaina, turns around at Launiupoko Park and returns to Ka’anapali.

Visit the Maui Marathon website for additional information.
